We organize theme-based meetings during which specially invited guests, curators, art theorists, and artists hold dialogs on the latest and most intriguing topics in the art world, the ideas to follow, interpret and define. Discussions in the Break My Art series have been held so far in Warsaw, Krakow, Łódź, and Gdańsk. The events are a chance to meet people whose daily lives involve working in the arts scene, but they also create a space for the mutual exchange of observations and experiences. So far, we have discussed issues related to artistic activism, alternative forms of presenting art and making on commission. We have also touched on topics closely related to the history of artistic communities in different cities. In Łódź, we discussed the avant-garde, while in Krakow we focused on the power of grassroots initiatives.
